Trauma-Focused Therapy | EMDR | TF-CBT | Clinical Consultation & Supervision
Healing from trauma is possible—and you do not have to navigate this alone.
I help people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and nervous system dysregulation, including the unique pressures that can come with being a professional, caregiver, or high-achieving individual. Together, we’ll work to better understand what your mind and body are communicating, build a greater sense of safety and emotional regulation, and gently address the experiences that may be keeping you stuck. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to you, with an emphasis on developing practical tools while creating space for deeper healing and self-understanding. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling more grounded, connected to yourself, and better able to move through life with greater ease, resilience, and confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, National Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with more than 15 years of experience providing and overseeing behavioral health services. My clinical work is grounded in extensive experience with trauma, complex behavioral health needs, crisis intervention, family systems, substance use, and the many ways difficult experiences can shape how we understand ourselves and relate to others.
I believe therapy should be both deeply human and clinically sound. My approach combines evidence-based treatment with genuine compassion, curiosity, professionalism, and respect for each person’s individual story. I work collaboratively with clients to create a therapeutic relationship where they can feel safe enough to explore difficult experiences while developing practical tools for meaningful change. I work with people in all ages and stages of life, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you think we may be a good fit!
Trauma can affect far more than our memories. It can influence our relationships, sense of safety, emotional regulation, self-worth, behaviors, and ability to trust ourselves and others. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families impacted by trauma and complex life experiences, and I approach this work with patience, sensitivity, and a strong understanding of the importance of pacing and emotional safety.
My clinical approach draws from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, somatic approaches, family systems perspectives, and other evidence-based interventions, while remaining individualized to the person sitting across from me.
I also recognize that healing can have a spiritual dimension. For clients who value spirituality, I am comfortable incorporating this work into the therapeutic process in a way that is respectful, client-directed, and clinically appropriate. Spirituality does not have to be separate from mental health; for some individuals, it can be an important source of meaning, resilience, identity, connection, and hope. I will never impose a particular belief system, but I am honored to make space for the spiritual aspects of a client’s experience when they are meaningful to them.
Trauma-Focused Care Rooted in Experience, Safety, and Healing
A Therapist Who Understands Complex Clinical Work My professional experience includes direct clinical care, intensive community-based services, crisis intervention, program leadership, clinical consultation, and supervision. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing significant emotional and behavioral health challenges.
This breadth of experience allows me to look beyond symptoms and consider the larger clinical picture—trauma history, attachment, family relationships, environmental stressors, substance use, developmental factors, strengths, and the systems surrounding an individual.
I bring a calm, thoughtful, and highly professional presence to clinical work. Clients can expect compassion without judgment, honesty without harshness, and a therapist who takes both their experiences and their goals seriously.
Consultation & Clinical Supervision
In addition to therapy, I provide high-quality clinical consultation and licensure supervision for clinicians who want to strengthen their clinical skills and develop greater confidence in their work.
My consultation and supervision are particularly well suited for clinicians working with trauma and complex clinical presentations, including those seeking support with EMDR, TF-CBT, trauma-informed treatment planning, case conceptualization, clinical documentation, risk assessment, family systems work, crisis intervention, and challenging clinical situations.
I believe excellent supervision is more than reviewing paperwork or checking boxes for licensure. It is an opportunity to become a more thoughtful, ethical, confident, and effective clinician. My supervision style is supportive and developmental while maintaining high clinical and professional standards. I encourage clinicians to think critically, understand the “why” behind their interventions, recognize their own clinical strengths and limitations, and develop a professional identity that is both competent and authentic.
For clinicians pursuing full licensure, I offer supervision that balances accountability, mentorship, clinical skill development, and genuine investment in professional growth.
EMDR & TF-CBT Consultation
Clinicians seeking consultation in trauma-focused work can benefit from my extensive experience with trauma-focused clinical practice and supervision. I provide thoughtful consultation around case conceptualization, treatment planning, preparation and stabilization, clinical decision-making, trauma processing, caregiver involvement, treatment barriers, and navigating complex presentations.
My goal is not simply to tell another clinician what to do. I want clinicians to leave consultation with a clearer clinical formulation, stronger rationale for their interventions, and greater confidence in their own clinical judgment.
